CALL FOR POSTERS AND SOFTWARE DEMONSTRATIONS

 

The 17th International Conference on Genome Informatics (GIW 2006)

 
1. GUIDELINES ON SUBMISSION

GIW 2006 has a session for posters and software demonstrations sponsored by JSBi. Please submit your poster or software demonstration from SUBMISSION OF POSTERS AND SOFTWARE DEMONSTRATIONS. Refer to INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS for the details.

  • Submission Deadline: October 10, 2006
  • Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: October 31, 2006
2. PUBLICATION

Accepted posters and software demonstrations will be compiled into "The 17th International Conference on Genome Informatics, Posters and Software Demonstrations".

 

3. OXFORD JOURNALS - JAPANESE SOCITETY FOR BIOINFORMATICS BIOINFORMATICS PRIZE

Oxford Journals - Japanese Society for Bioinformatics Prize will be awarded to the best poster and software demonstration selected by JSBi selection committee. The winners will be given JPY30,000 and one year free subscription of the journal Bioinformatics. The first author of candidate for this prize must be a member of JSBi by October 31, 2006.
