CALL FOR POSTERS AND SOFTWARE DEMONSTRATIONS

GIW 2004 has a session for posters and software demonstrations sponsored by JSBi. For a poster/demo, an exactly two-page abstract in the specified format shown at INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS should be submitted to:

After review, authors will be notified acceptance/rejection by October 27, 2004.

Oxford University Press Bioinformatics Prize

The Oxford University Press Bioinformatics Prize will be awarded to the best poster/ demo selected by JSBi selection commitee. The winner will receive JPY30,000 and one year free subscription of journal Bioinformatics. The first author of candidate for this prize must be a member of JSBi by October 10, 2004.

PUBLICATION

Abstracts of accepted posters and software demonstrations will be compiled as "The Fifteenth International Conference on Genome Informatics, Posters and Software Demonstrations". The abstracts are NOT included on "Genome Informatics Vol.15, No.2".
